On this site you can find details of the meeting times and activities of the Anchor Boys, Junior Section and Company Section.

Message from the Captain

I would like to welcome you to the 1st Falkirk BB Company website. I hope you find the site interesting and helpful. We have a strong connection with our boys & their families, our church and our former members and I hope all parties viewing our site will find it an interesting resource.

Russell Croal, one of our senior boys, mans the site for the company and is doing a great job indeed. The Company strength at the moment is 48 boys, whish is broken down into 12 Anchor Boys, 14 Junior Section boys and 22 Company Section boys. We have a total of 15 staff and 4 helpers at present.

2009/10 was a very busy session for all three sections of this company. In May, two Company Section boys achieved their Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award and another is almost finished, this is a great achievement for the boys and the company. We have one Senior boy nearing completion of the BB Queen's Badge and 6 others starting their 2 year course. This all makes for a busy session in 2010-2011.

Four Senior boys visited the European Parliament in Brussels in June. This is one of the Senior's activity trips being organised through the BB National HQ at Carronvale in Larbert.

I am pleased to report that we were able to contribute £300 to the Haiti disaster this session as well as supporting our own Church Sunday School, this is what the Boy's Brigade is all about.

The Company Section returned to Chamonix in August 2010 for our summer camp, we had a fantastic trip and some photographs and footage of the events will be on the website soon. We also have our annual spring weekend break to Scott Lodge booked for March.

Finally any of our old boys out there, please feel free to contact us either by this website or pop in on a Friday evening some time.

The section OIC's will now tell you a bit more of what goes on here at the 1st Falkirk BB Company.
